Yes, it’s undeniably true. The new poster and first full trailer for Zeroinside Films’ new sci-fi found footage project Area 51 Confidential have been unveiled. The bottom line of the movie is to see people from various walks of life which held captive outside a secret government rumored installation to certain extraterrestrial life. On May 2011, a teaser trailer was also unveiled.

The movie is presented as an amateur video recording of actual events according to its found footage subgenre. This movie is a feature film in the streak of Cloverfield, Paranormal Activity, and The Blair Witch Project. The “found footage” subgenre of the film has formerly been a push into the spotlight by such films mentioned earlier.

Here’s the thing. The “found footage” film is a science fiction horror film which follows the events that befell a group of individuals in August 2001 who awoke to find themselves all stranded in a desolate area surrounding the military base known as “Area 51″. That footage was later allegedly used in a Military Training video for new hires at the facility. This film comes after the dilemma of a broadcast journalist, a documentarian, a teenage girl from Roswell, an army Colonel, and a man who had previously been thought “missing” for a number of years – as they are awaken in the desert area surrounding Area 51. Its latest production is presented under the appearance of Area 51, a military training video for new hires at the facility.

In the absence of knowledge of how they arrived there, they must sort out their differences and find a way out before extraordinary creatures find them first. This found-footage film, Area 51 Confidential, is directed and written by Brandon Slagle, who stars alongside Adrian Quihis, Devanny Pinn, Wolfgang Meyer, Angie Johnson, Tawny Amber Young and Matthew Landon. Area 51 Confidential hits with twists and turns with character development that is not usually seen in this subgenre as shown through the eyes of military surveillance and a cleverly placed array of cameras. Official videos and US DVD’s will be announced in the coming weeks along with the international release dates being handled by by Phoenix Group Releasing.
