When shopping for sunglasses, it can be tricky picking the right frame for your face. To avoid buying the wrong sunglasses, you first need to identify the shape of your face. There are basically seven different shapes namely; triangle, oval, inverted triangle, round, square and diamond.
Once you have known the shape of your face, you can go ahead and choose a frame that is suitable for you. For example, if you have a round shaped face, you can choose narrow, angular frames which are wider.
The size of your face should also be considered. For instance, if your body’s figure is petite, then try not to go for sunglasses that are too big. Going for frames that are over-sized will only make you look smaller. For those with diamond shaped faces, go for oval or rimless frames.
Folks with square shaped faces should wear sunglasses with round, oval, thin and cat-eyed frames. Then, there are those with triangular shaped faces: these should go for cat-eyed and colorful frames. Those with oblong faces should try frames that are wide at the part where the face is broadest.
People with oval faces are the luckiest as they will look good in almost all frame shapes. They will most especially look good in wrap-around and square frames. All in all, ensure that you go for polarized sunglasses since they are the best.
